AVOID DIABETES BASED ON THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE YIN-YANG NATURE OF THE SUGAR CONSUMED (PART 45)
A. Meaning of Yin-Yang
The Yin-Yang concept is a treatise on the notion of symmetrical opposition, of the continuous and cyclic transmutation from Yin to Yang and from Yang to Yin ...

QiQongTherapy, a branch of Complementary Medicine, translates this supposedly abstract concept: opposition-excess-insufficiency-cold-heat-external-internal....... into concrete and easily understandable data with explanations based on objective values measured by the devices used in Western medicine (blood pressure meter-glucometer- salivary pH paper, laser thermometer).

Over time, the doctor in Oriental Medicine, measured the pulse based on the respiratory cycle: 4 heartbeats per respiratory cycle (one inhalation and one exhalation) is a normal reference.

More than 4 beats per respiratory cycle (more than 72 beats/minute) indicates a Yang (Heat) pulsation.

Less than 4 beats per respiratory cycle (less than 72 beats/minute) indicates a Yin (Cold) pulsation.

This situation depends on the health of the doctor and the patient. On the other hand, the shape of the pulse also gives information about the excess-insufficiency, superficial pulse -deep pulse, ample pulse-tight pulse.....which only the doctor knows how to interpret, without being able to explain it to the patient.

Now the blood pressure monitor will give precise and objective values of systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulsation of the person, regardless of the condition of the doctor or the patient.

- Systolic pressure represents Energy
- Diastolic pressure at the left arm represents the amount of food
- Diastolic pressure at the right arm represents the amount of blood
- Pulsation represents Heat or Cold, also provides information on blood glucose levels.
The blood pressure must correspond to the aged-referenced values.

Example for a person aged 60 and over:
Systolic: 130-140mmHg/ Diastolic: 80-90mmHg /Pulse: 70-80 bpm
Systolic: yin<130-140 mmHg>yang
Diastolic: yin<80-90 mmHg>yang
Pulse: yin<70-80 bpm> yang

Any value lower than the references, translates a Yin state, Ex: systolic 120 mmHg, the pressure is Yin, i.e., lack of Energy.

Any value higher than the references, indicates a Yang state, Ex:. pulsation 90 beats per minute, the pulsation is Yang, i.e. the beats are too fast, it is a state of Heat.

Systolic pressure 120 mmHg is Yin for a person 60 years old and older, but the same 120 mmHg systolic pressure is Yang for a person aged 13-17 years.

References for persons aged 13-17 years
Systolic : 100-110 mmHg, Diastolic :60-65mmHg, Pulse: 65 bpm

References for children aged 5 to 12 years:
Systolic 95-100 mmHg; Diastolic 60-120 mmHg; Pulse 60 bpm

The same systolic pressure of 120 mmHg is considered as a hypertension state in a child, which causes nosebleeds because the capillaries of the nasal mucosa are more fragile than the blood vessels in a growing child's brain.

Complementary Medicine explains the following Yin-Yang references regarding diabetes.

Yin-Yang references should be checked before and after meals.

1. Glycemia
Before meals: 100-140 mg/dL, or 6-8 mmol/L
After meals: 140-180 mg/dL, or 8-10 mmol/L
These blood glucose values help keeping the heart functioning properly. A blood glucose level of 180 mg/dL, or 10 mmol/L is required before exercising, so that sugar can be converted into energy and antibodies, for maintaining a stable health and a good immune system.

Any lower value indicates a yin state.
Any value above the references indicates a yang state.

2. Pulsation
Pulse rate should be 70 to 80 beats per minute.
yin<70-80 beats per minute> yang

A healthy person breathes 18 to 20 times a minute, in other words, 18 to 20 breathing cycles per minute. In the past, Oriental Medicine counted 4 beats per respiratory cycle.

4x18=72 and 4x20=80. That is why Complementary Medicine states that the normal pulse should be 70-80 beats per minute.

Pulsation and blood sugar are not enough to identify a Yin or Yang state, additional measures such as temperature and pH value (according to the salivary pH paper) are required.

A high pulsation usually aligns with a high temperature. A high pulsation with a low temperature indicates a lack of blood. Due to a lack of blood, the heart has to beat faster to get blood to the cells in time, resulting in cardiac fatigue. This case is known in Oriental Medicine as: "Yin deficiency gives internal Heat "Âm hư nội nhiệt”.

Ex.: a job should normally be completed in 1 hour by 10 people. But there are only 5 people, these 5 people have to work harder and faster to finish the work within 1 hour.

3. Temperature
The temperature measured at the little finger on the left hand should be between 36oC to 37oC.
(Cold) yin<36oC-37oC>yang (Heat), 41oC>fever

The little finger on the left is the end of the heart meridian.

4. pH
The pH should be between pH 7 to pH 8.
(Cold/Acid) yin<pH 7- pH 8>yang (Heat/Alkaline)
- pH above pH 8: the body is in an alkaline medium with high body Heat.
- pH lower than pH 6: the body is in an acidic environment with Cold to the body, thus promoting the development of cancers.
Use saliva pH paper to measure the pH of saliva. The other test strips, blood pH or urinary pH, are not recommended for measuring the pH of saliva.

B. Learning method to become a good doctor
All three steps should be applied: Possess the theory and be willing to ask questions. Learn and practice. Learn to understand.

1. Have a good grasp of theory and ask questions
According to Complementary Medicine:
- Systolic blood pressure represents Energy:
On the left, the Energy of digestion in the stomach. On the right, the Energy of contraction of the liver.
Before meals, the systolic pressure on the left arm should be lower than on the right.
After a meal, the systolic pressure on the left arm should be higher than on the right.

- Diastolic pressure
On the left, represents the quantity of food, after a meal, it should be high.
On the right, represents the amount of blood, after a meal, it should also be high.

- Pulsation should be 70 to 80 beats per minute.
A pulsation below 70 bpm indicates a Cold state.
A pulsation greater than 80 bpm indicates a state of Heat.

To learn well, you have to raise questions. For example:
A person has indigestion, vomiting after a meal, having dizziness, cold to the limbs with the following tension values:
Before meal, left: 125/70/59 right: 125/65/57
After meal, left: 125/65/62 right: 135/60/55

Why does the stomach tension before and after a meal remain the same? Why is there vomiting after a meal ?

- is the stomach full of food, or is the stomach shrivelled ?
- if it is filled with food, the blood pressure must be high, but it is low !
- in this case, it means that the stomach is inert, no longer functions and rejects the food. This explains the vomiting after a meal.

Two situations might cause dizziness:
- lack of blood: diastolic pressure on the right is 65 mmHg before a meal, but it drops to 60 mmHg after a meal. This means that the meal contains acidic flavours that have destroyed the blood.
- low pulse: lack of glucose makes the limbs, stomach and liver Cold, predisposing to vertigo.

2. Learning and practicing to verify and confirm knowledge
Example: the above-cited case has still some concern : the blood sugar level is 150 mg/dL, the pulsation is low and the limbs are cold. As the blood sugar level is within the reference values, why does the pulsation remain low ?

In this case, more investigation should be done, both in terms of pH and temperature.

The measured pH is 5, it is an acid pH (Yin), therefore generating the cold.

If you still have doubts, measure the temperature at the little finger on the left. The measured temperature is 32oC, the temperature is Yin, thus giving cold to the limbs.

So the blood sugar of 150 mg/dL is due to the Yin nature of sugar, that is why sugar does not provide heat.

Conclusion: it is the lack of Yang sugar, which does not provide heat to the stomach to function. This explains why there is no variation in the blood pressure of the stomach, before and after meals.

3. Learning means understanding
With knowledge, experience, and by looking at blood pressure, blood glucose, pH, and temperature values, one would be able to describe the signs of the disease.
Before meal, left: 125/70/59; right: 125/65/57
After lunch, left: 125/65/62; right 135/60/55
Temperature: 32oC; Blood glucose 150 mmg/dL; pH 5
Signs would be: ingestion, vomiting after a meal, dizziness, cold limbs.

The treatment would be:
Dissolve 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 10 teaspoons of glucose in a little water, to increase the sugar of Yang nature, increase the pH to an alkaline pH. The alkaline pH will raise the heat of the stomach, and the Yang glucose will provide energy to the stomach to digest the food.

Practice the "Roll on" exercise to homogenize blood and sugar throughout the body. Practice the "Four-Step Handclap" exercise to circulate blood and energy to the extremities of the limbs, raising the body temperature to around 36oC.

Another example identical to the above-mentioned case, but this time, the systolic blood pressures on the right remain unchanged, before and after meals.
Before meal, left: 125/65/57, right: 125/70/59.
After meal, left: 135/60/55, right: 125/65/62

The systolic pressure on the left increases after meal, indicating that food processing is taking place, therefore no esophageal reflux occurs.

The diastolic pressure on the left drops after meal, indicating that there is little food consumed, the food is not nourishing.

The low pulsation indicates that there is cold in the stomach, following the consumption of food of a cold nature, and lack of Yang sugar.

Systolic blood pressure on the right does not vary, neither before nor after the meal, indicates that the liver is inert and does not pump blood.

Diastolic blood pressure on the right drops after meal, indicating that the food is not nutritious to be converted into blood.

The low pulse rate of the liver indicates that the liver is Cold, the blood would be denser, the liver does not pump enough blood to the heart, causing spikes of pain in the heart. In the long run, lack of Yang sugar will lead to heart attacks.

Another example: identification of the Yin or Yang nature of a sugar.
After a meal, blood glucose should be: 140 -180 mg/dL, 8-10 mmol/L, the person has:
Blood glucose: 110 mg/dL, Temperature 32oC, pH 6.8.

Low blood sugar means a lack of sugar, but of what kind? Yin or Yang?
A temperature of 32oC indicates a Yin state.
pH 6.8 is not the cause of the disorder.

Conclusion: Lack of Yang sugar is the cause of indigestion. A blood sugar level of 110 mg/dL is just sufficient for the functioning of the heart, but not for food processing.

To confirm the lack of Yang sugar, in case of low blood glucose after meals as in this case 110 mg/dL, take 4 teaspoons of glucose after meals. Re-measure the blood pressure 30 minutes later.
Before meal, left: 125/65/57; right: 125/70/59
After meal, left: 135/60/55; right: 125/65/62

After glucose intake, left: 130/70/72; right: 120/71/59
The variations in these values confirm the lack of Yang sugar

It is therefore sufficient to take more glucose to raise the blood glucose level to around 180 mg/dL or (10 mmol/L) so the temperature on the little finger on the left will rise to 36.5oC, and the pH to pH 7.5.

Another example:
Glycemia: 200mg/dL, Low pulsation, Temperature measured: LO i.e. Yin (too low), pH 5.5.

A high blood glucose of 200mg/dL (11.mmol/L) should give a high pulsation, warm hands. Why is the pulsation low? Why are the hands cold?

Pulsation, temperature and pH all indicate a Yin state, favouring the development of cancer. So high glycemia is due to the Yin nature of sugar.

Treatment:
Increase pH and body heat by taking 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 10 teaspoons of glucose in a little water.
The values measured after taking glucose from baking soda:
Before, left: 125/65/57; right: 125/70/59.
Afterwards left: 128/69/75; right: 118/72/75
Glycemia: 170 mg/dL; Temperature: 36.2oC; pH 7.3

C. Yin-yang nature of sugar
After taking the sugar, measuring the pulse, temperature and pH, allows to determine the nature of this sugar, regardless of its origin: Pepsi, drinks, fruits, honey, vegetables, rice, stevia, mono or polysaccharide....

- Yang sugar is a sugar that raises blood sugar levels, provides energy, heat and gives an alkaline pH (pH7 and above).
- Yin sugar is a sugar that also raises blood sugar levels, but does not provide heat or energy, and gives an acidic pH (pH6 and below).

Example: Pepsi test by Master Đỗ Đức Ngọc
Initial Blood glucose: 223 mg/dL
Blood glucose after taking one can of Pepsi: 226 mg/dL
Blood glucose 2 hours later: 196 mg/dL
Blood glucose 4 hours after: 89 mg/dL

Conclusion: the sugar in Pepsi is Yin in nature, because by lowering the blood sugar level, the sugar also lowers the temperature and the pH.
At the end of the experiment: Blood sugar level: 89 mg/dL, Temperature: Lo, pH 5

Usefulness of Pepsi: Ex: in case of high pulsation: 90 bpm, high temperature: 37oC and more, pH 8 and more, take a can of Pepsi and all these values will decrease.

D. Interpretation of the relationship Fact- Logic
Example 1
The fact is that the blood glucose levels, according to the standards of March 2018, must be:
Before meals: 100-140 mg/dL, 6-8 mmol/L.
After meals: 140-180 mg/dL, 8-10 mmol/L

The Logic is the recommendation of the American Heart Association, to take 6 to 9 teaspoons of glucose per day to allow a good functioning of the heart. Anyone who follows this Logic with the standards of the Fact, is always healthy. This is a good correlation between Fact and Logic.

Example 2
The fact is to impose a blood glucose level of less than 126mg/dL or 7 mmo/lL.

The Logic is the recommendation of the American Heart Association, to take 6 to 9 teaspoons of glucose per day to allow the heart to function properly.
Systematically applying the Fact without taking into account the Logic will deprive a whole population of sugar, leading to the unusual appearance of illnesses that are difficult to treat such as heart attacks, blood clots, obstruction of coronary or cerebral vessels... It is a case of contradiction between the Fact and the Logic.

Example 3
Measurements on the right arm after a meal are Facts
Systolic : 130mmHg; Diastolic : 65 mmHg; Pulsation : 90 bpm
Temperature: 33oC, pH6
High pulsation indicates a Yang/Heat condition, why is the measured temperature low?
Further investigation according to Logic is required. The low diastolic pressure on the right, after a meal, indicates lack of blood and the food consumed does not form blood. Due to the lack of blood, the heart must beat faster in order to deliver blood to the cells in time. One should therefore reason when there is an apparent contradiction between Fact and Logic.

E. Notes
- It is common that before giving the course, Master Đỗ Đức Ngọc measures his blood sugar and consumes glucose to prove that high glycemia is nothing to worry about.
Blood glucose, at baseline: 202 mg/dL, around 11 mmol/L
Blood glucose, 30 minutes after taking 5 teaspoons of glucose: 190 mg/dL, around 9 mmol/L
Blood glucose, end of the course: 141 mg/dl, about 8. mmol/L

- QiQongTherapy breathing exercises can raise or lower body heat.

- The physical exercises of QiQongTherapy can lower blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and avoid kidney filtrations.

- A blood glucose level consistently below 104 mg/dL or 6.2 mmol/L predisposes to the following conditions:

Degeneration of the cervical spine, herniated disc, deviation of the spine, neck stiffness, back pain in the legs to knees, difficult gait, numbness in the limbs, parkinson's, cholesterol, gout, sciatica, memory loss, intestinal inertia, kidney filtration 3 times/week, migraine, allergy, kidney stones, headache, dizziness, asthma, indigestion, acid reflux from the esophagus, whole body pain, vertigo, heart fatigue, throat cyst, stomach cancer, stool containing undigested food, insomnia, emotional disturbance, frequent urination, fatigue, abdominal swelling, pale complexion, staggering gait, tinnitus, drooping eyelids, stiffness of the cervical spine preventing movement, depression, easily possessed by spirits, deviation of the mouth, facial paralysis, glare, momentary darkening of the vision, gradual blindness, cancer of the uterus of the breasts, hepatitis, renal insufficiency level 2, osteoporosis, falls easily with bone fracture, flaccid paralysis due to lack of sugar (rigid paralysis is due to strokes following high blood pressure), a sudden drop in glycemia makes you feel dizzy wtih cold and perspiration...signs similar to a perverse wind attack.

Glucose should be given to drink immediately, not treated as a case of wind attack, which will lead directly to death.
