PROLONGED USE OF INSULIN LEADS TO RENAL FAILURE AND THEN TO DIALYSIS (PART 11)

1. Kidney function
The function of the kidneys is to filter stale blood, produce urine to eliminate metabolic waste, and recover any useful substance or ion that can be reused by the body, and also to secrete hormones. The kidneys are shaped like a bean, topped with an adrenal gland. There are 2 kidneys, they are located on each side of the spine at the level of the last 2 ribs, in the lumbar region.

Adrenal glands
The adrenal glands have 3 layers:
- the surface layer regulates ions such as sodium (Na+), potassium (K+) and pH.
- the middle layer regulates the sugar level.
- the inner layer regulates sex hormones.

b. The nephron
The nephron, located in the kidney, is the kidney filtration unit. There are one million of them per kidney. It consists of a Bowman's capsule (Glomerulus) of the proximal convoluted tubule, a loop of Henle, and a distal convoluted tubule.

The blood to be filtered arrives at the nephron at the Bowman capsule, passes through the proximal convoluted tubule, the Henle loop, the distal convoluted tubule, and finally the urine formed is poured into the urine collector and delivered to the bladder.
At the glomeruli (Bowman capsules), there is blood filtration and formation of primary urine. Large proteins and red blood cells are retained.

At the proximal convoluted tubule, and the loop of Henle, there is 90% re-absorption of water, Na+, K+, glucose, amino acids, bicarbonates, Cl-...

At the distal convoluted tubule, there is optional reabsorption and hormone secretion, depending on the body's need.

Any excess glucose, sodium, potassium...is eliminated in the urine. If these same substances are lacking, the kidneys recover them, and if necessary, red blood cells, vitamin B12 and various electrolytes are also recovered.

Creatinine is a metabolic waste excreted mainly by the kidneys. High levels of creatinine in the blood indicate renal failure. Normal blood creatinine level: 4 to 12 mg/L.

About 6 litres of blood are filtered /hour by the kidneys, to give 1 mL of urine /hour.

The kidneys filter about 144 litres of blood/day to form 1.2 L to 1.4 L of urine/day.
Renal failure occurs when the kidneys can no longer filter the blood to form urine, which will decrease more and more.

Level 1 deficiency: 1.000 mL urine/day
Level 2 deficiency: 600 mL of urine per day
Level 3 deficiency: 300 mL of urine per day
Level 4 deficiency: 100 mL urine/day, swelling of the face, limbs, edema in the brain, heart failure, high blood pressure, difficulty breathing.......

The more renal filtration (dialysis) is required, the more blood is lost because the filtration system cannot recover red blood cells. Currently, Japan has developed the best dialysate in the world containing 25 chemicals to recover the maximum number of ingredients necessary for the body.

It has been estimated that a person who is to receive renal filtration consumes twenty-two thousand litres of water/year (22,000 L/year).

After unsuccessful dialysis, renal transplantation would be an option.

It is the obstruction of nephrons by starch that blocks the kidney's filtration function, leading to dialysis and kidney transplantation.

Glucose, by losing water, becomes starch. C6H12O6 - H2O= C6H10O5, it is the starch formula.

2. Regenerate kidney function through QiQongTherapy exercises
The goal of the exercise is to restore the inert kidneys movements in order to regenerate their filtration functions.

Exercise: Hail to God allows the kidneys to be mechanically stretched and compressed to dislodge starch deposits in nephrons.
The practice consists of 3 steps: a-b-c
Take Kim Tiền Thảo (Desmodium Styracifolium) to promote urination and starch expulsion.

Drink plenty of sugar cane juice to increase blood volume to facilitate renal filtration. Sugar cane juice provides many of the elements necessary for the body, in addition, it allows the reabsorption of many substances essential to the body, including VitB12.

Exercise slowly and lightly to avoid any further formation of creatinine (degradation of muscle creatine to creatinine) and to avoid any unnecessary fatigue.

Practice for a maximum of 10 minutes, take a short break. Before re-practicing, take some Kim Tiền Thảo (Desmodium Styracifolium), sugar cane juice, then practice.

Repeat the exercise as many times as desired during the day.

Stretch the arms to stretch the kidneys, bring the arms back to compress the kidneys.

At each urination, observe whether the urine becomes cloudy, if it is cloudy it means that the starch powder is expelled. Collect urine in a container to measure urinary volume, if it gradually increases to about 1,000 mL/day, it does means that there is a gradual regeneration of the kidney function. The volume of water ingested is approximately equal to the volume of urine formed.

3. Four natural products that promote the regeneration of kidney function
- Desmodium Styracifolium (Kim Tiền Thảo)
- Chitosan
- Riosett
- Glycine
These food supplements regulate kidney function, sugar and fat levels. They are like hubs to rebalance a large majority of disorders. Depending on the situations and needs, they can be taken separately or all together. Don't forget to drink sugar cane juice and practice the exercises.

4. Notes
a. Activities lower blood sugar levels
In the middle of the class, Master Do measures his blood sugar level: 243 mg/dL
At the end of the class, Master Do re-measures his blood glucose level: 196 mg/dL
After a ten-minute walk in a park, Maitre Do re-measures his blood glucose level: 101 mg/dL.
As just talking consumes energy, so it lowers blood sugar levels. It is the physical activity that causes blood sugar levels to drop more quickly. Therefore it is necessary to consume sugar normally, and not to forget to practice QiQongTherapy exercises.

b. Increased creatinine levels after dialysis sessions
Normally creatinine decreases after dialysis. The increase in creatinine after dialysis is due to the loss of watertightness of the valves in the leg veins, which does not allow the venous blood to return completely. All blood in the body contains high levels of creatinine, which requires dialysis. Dialysis could not reach the stagnant venous blood in the legs.

This blood contains a lot of creatinine. On the way home, walking and movement redistribute creatinine from the legs to the bloodstream, again increasing creatinine levels. To improve venous return, practice the exercise: tighten the calves, then go up and down the stairs.

c. Explanation of a death case
The lean person is said to have died of liver cancer because of high blood sugar level: 160 mg/dL.
In reality, the person is treated for diabetes and regularly receives insulin. Insulin lowers all sugars. Since there is no sugar intake, the body draws sugar from fats, liver glycogen to ensure the survival of the brain (144g of glucose per day) and heart (36g of glucose per day). The liver no longer has glycogen or fat, decreases in volume, lacks blood, becomes cancerous. That's why the person died skinny. High blood sugar levels are due to sugars extracted from all parts of the body to keep you alive in vain.
