Parkinson

Taking temperatures T, blood pressures BP (in both arms) and blood sugars BS are our effective methods to detect root causes of sicknesses and then applying right aways appropriate adjustments (on eatinggood foods and doing more effective exercises). Here, we believe Parkinson is a mental state of loosing balanced and /or shaking parts of body resulted from partial nervous system has been 1/. blocked in circulation happened to patients with low BP or 2/. up with manic effort or confused mind in patients with high BP.

The followings are the different kinds of Parkinson cases recorded at our clinic that we’d like to share with readers.

1- Hands’ Parkinson

a- Temperature: We took temperature at different spots on the head of a patient in Quebec who complained his hands with Parkinson and found a wide range of temperature from a very high as 39 degree C, to very low that the machine just indicated LOW! Our solution was to bring back healthy temperatures by stimulating the head’ skin with fingers’ tips scratching-View instruction in the Post “Let’s Move”. It was normal that the patient’s hands were shaking during the scratching and surprisedly that after 5 to 10 minutes of that strong massage on the head, the shake on hands stopped.

This head scratching can be repeatedly performed by patients or helpers several times a day at the patient’s comfortable feeling (always ask if patients are OK with the scratching force).

To patients who are not scared of needles, they can use a needle to prick and squeeze for a drop of blood out to release pressure at low or high T spots on the head.

The patient shared with us his sickness history: He had seizured (epilepsy a type of neurological disorder) and high blood pressures when he was a boy. On his head there had been many locations of stressed nerves where we found the temperatures were very high or low compared to body’s temperature.

b- We also found patients with hands’ Parkinson have blood pressures of two arms were very much different from each other. These BPs are high compared to Qiqong Healthy Standard List.

For your reference the below is Qiqong Standard Healthy List of BP at two ages’ranges
Middle ages 41-59 years old
120-130/70-80 mm Hg, 70-75/min
Seniors 60+ years old
130-140/80-90 mm Hg, 70-80/min
To reduce the BP we were pricking and squeezing for a drop of blood on the tips of fingers and toes. To increase the BP we pressed acupuncture point E Minh (picture: behind and below the ear left and right) on the lower BP side. If you are not familiar of the acupuncture system, let make some supportive massage to circulation in the lower BP side, or use hands patting along the arms and legs, let the arms and legs moved up and down: you would feel your body warmer and the best is you have some sweat out.
c- Test the work: To make sure what was done on the loe BP (or the high BP) sides is improving or not, just take the BPs on both arms again.

Simple Exercise can reduce the BPs.-holding and press one knee toward the abdomen with blowing exhale and then change leg-read post

d- The hands’ shaking stop at relaxing: If your BP is still high, relax the whole body for around an hour-try meditation at lying position (tongue rolled up to the roof of the shut mouth)-Put your hands on top of the acupuncture point Khi Hai (see the picture), slowly inhale and exhale throught your nose with your mind observing/feeling the up and down of your abdomen. Slowly, hands will be felt warm and steadily they increase temperature by 1/10 degree C (an electronic thermometer was put under the hands). The ideal temperatures are from 37.0 to 38 degree C where you can finish the relaxation.

Apparently, when the hands’ temperature is increasing, the body’s BP is down and falls into the healthy ranges from 120-130mmHg.

e- Shaking more or less: When two hands (one on top of the other) are on the abdomen during a breathing meditation, the hands are not shaking. Hands are shaking very much at reaching out position while the shaking stops when the hands are put on supportive surfaces such as on a table. Our record showed that many patients with uncontrollable hands shaked were with very low or high BPs. After a few days of taken foods for better BPs (eat with hot and high energy for increasing or vice versa for reducing) and doing exercise as claps hands, doing Simple Exercise… the shaking were reduced in most. Cases.

f- Temperature detecting sick spots: using an electronic thermometer to find the temperatures on different spots on the arm (shoulder, elbow, wrist and fingers). The spots at high and low temperatures are sick ones where the circulation was blocked. Massage these sick spots and best of all is to prick, squeeze out a little bit of blood: that is a temporary releasing internal blocks in circulation. The effective long term method is to exercise regularly (do at least 10 minutes the Simple Exercise 30 minutes after eating, twice or more per day) and eat appropriate food for better BP and helping the circulation balanced going through the arms. For more information read the post “Your Real Knowledge of High Blood Pressure?”

g- Stimulating the head’s nerve:

Thua Linh is the acupuncture point controlling movements of hands. Take the temperatures at Thua Linh left and right. To patients who were starting hands shaked, Thua Linh points are where to press, prick and squeeze to stop the shaking. Besides Thua Linh, the Phong Tri (left and right) and Dai Chuy are where to test the temperature; if it is sick (low or very high temperatures), the massage, pricking, squeezing for drops of blood are the necessary adjustment and exercises (clapping hands, standing position for Simple Exercise, recharging inner energy)-view the post “Let’s Move” to follow.

Patients would rest assured if the temperatures at these points are back to body normal temperature and in order to maintain that good temperature they have to press or massage these points at least 3 times a day.

Foods for better BP are important and do not neglect them together with testing BS. Many patients have been so scared of high BP and high BS for years and they did not eat enough sugar and other essensal nutrition: they always feel tired, bored and ached the whole body; Instead of eating properly, unfortunately they took medication like anti-depress and pain-killer and become sicker.

2- Parkinson on Legs

To patient who is Parkison on legs; their legs are shaking and they can’t be controlled during stepping: their mind wants to walk, their body leans forward but legs stand still and the patient often falls.

Why the legs stood still while the patient wanted to walk? We can say the legs’ controlling nerves were blocked according to low BPs measured on arms. The following is our regular treatment to many patients.

a- Treatment on head and feet: Taking temperatures to find out the sick points where to be scratched using fingers’ tips. For more effective you can prick and squeeze out a little bit blood to help for releasing the blocking. Do the same on toes.

b- Clap on legs: Ask patients lie down or half-sit with pillows, hold up one leg and clap hands on the muscles of the leg, then change leg. This claping helps the circulation.

c- Execise for Kidneys: patient is lying on stomach. A helper holds the patient’s leg, gentlely fold it, and bring the heel as close as possible and touch the butt and the patient exhales. Repeat the movevement for 36 times and change the leg.

This exercise can be performed at standing position if the patients are able to stand: make sure patients leaning on a wall or to a similar surface to prevent falling down; or one hand holds a pole (or on arm chair) the other hand holds the foot and presses it toward the butt.

d- Practice mentally walking as army matching: moving order comes first out loud (to let the mind receive and ready) then the action comes next.
First, let patients stand and sing “One, two, three, four, five, six, seven”: they will get used to with the rythms. Next, a trainer holds one patient’s hands. Before doing anything, the order should be saying out loud such as, “ready, lift the foot, lift. Step down, step, (sing and step together) one, two, three, four, five, six, seven…”, one step at each word, with a little pulling force lead a patient walk around as matching to the rythms of the song. Just walk around a circle or follow a path like number 8 otherwise, patients will hit the wall.

When the patients are familiar with steps, release their hands. Trainers stills sing, walk right beside (beware of falling) and encourage patients sing loud at walking. Normally at beginning, patients can’t stop walking if stop they will fell: they are like robot. For around 5 minutes. Tell them in the same manner: “ready to stop, stop”. Repeat the walk several times again and again.
Patients can walk by themselves using this method and a trainer is importantto them at the first time. The necessary time for patients’mind getting better is 2 to 3 hours walking a day and continuously everyday for a month. A metal walker is a helpful tool for patient start walking.
e- Walk up and down stairs is the best way to practice and quick see the progress. Our trainer Master Do Duc Ngoc helped many patients, walked with them in hospitals, first up a stairway on the left and then went down at the right after walking across (through) the hall.

f- Sit and Breath: Sit straight on an arm chair, two hands open up and put on the thigh, elbows keep close to the body, eyes are open and look at the hands or straight ahead. Inhale slowly as smelling a scented flower. Relaxing exhale and lower the shoulders if they are high. Notes, when you inhale don’t raise shoulders and breast and if you are really relaxing, the shakes on hands stop. Each session should be around 15 minutes. Do several sessions per day and as many as possible.

3- Some Shaking is not Parkinson: Those who are old and weak, often have hands shaked and easily fell down. The shaking is stop when their hands put on a surface. They really need right diagnoses according to their BP and BS: If their BP and BS always low why these patients could not have their BP ans BS improved by eating right good foods and do more exercises? If these old people were given the medication for Parkinson, soon they become patients of Parkinson wrongly! Wrong medication causes death!

Important memo at walking for Parkinson patients:

· Do not use the whole surface of the foot touching the ground, the whole foot will be attached or sticked to the ground: Use something soft (sold in nails supplies’stores) separating the toes higher than the rest of the foot.

· When stopping in middle of a long walk, don’t let the feet stand at the same line but let them separated a step away, one in front one behind.

· When a patient walk to an end of a straight line, don’t panic, don’t stop and don’t let the feet come together at one line: Only one foot touches the floor each time by lifting one foot up-down and change to the other foo up-down, slowly turn the body to the back then continue walking.

· Step at longer (not short step) length can prevent the falls.

After a few months of good walking, if the shakes on hands and feet are reduces and gone, don’t forget to tell doctors to test and then change the doses of medication.
