Beat High Blood Pressure

HEALTHY BLOOD PRESSURE/Standard for each range of AGES

We've updated this post with more info about emergency reducing blood pressure on Dec 17

We, our generation exactly, have been leaving our health care too much in the hands of medical doctors and don't know exactly what is our own-range of a healthy level of blood pressure.

Have you ever feel any suspicious (or just released?!) when your family doctor told you your blood pressure is OK without asking if how much your blood pressure and its meaning are?

Do you think a small/young tree needs the same level of inner pressure to get water and nutrition from the root to feed the whole high branches compared to that in a high/old tree? In the same picture, the old person should have higher blood pressure in order to have enough blood brought to his or her brain, but how much exactly is OK???

Have you ever questioned your doctors if the range of 90/60 to 140/90 mmHg and pulses 60 to 80/min for each level of ages or for all ages, how much is for the kids and how much is for the old adults?

According to our present medical system, the blood pressure lower of the above range is considered low and vice versa the higher.

Luckily, the group named Qiqong Therapy and its master Ngoc Duc Do has been observing, curing many ill people with variety of ages, and finally giving us a useful information about our healthy range of blood pressure as the following list. We sincerely urge you to check all of our information and tell us how your feel about it.

1. Children 5-12 years old

95-100/60-65 mm Hg, pulses 60-140/min

2.Teenagers 13–17 years old

100-110/60-65 mm Hg, 60-65/min

3. Adults 18-40 years old

110-120/65-70 mm Hg, 65-70/min

4. Middle ages 41-59 years old

120-130/70-80 mm Hg, 70-75/min

5. Senors 60+ years old

130-140/80-90 mm Hg, 70-80

Sicknesses affect blood pressure, in other words, if we find our blood pressure is out of the healthy range, we know our body need an adjustment, don't we?

Your BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR is a handy tool FOR YOUR Health, so USE it REGULARLY---> it becomes your doctor, isn't it? :-)

What's kind of adjustment we need for each sickness?

According to the Qiqong Therapy, there are three mains sources feed and keep us alive (healthy): air, material (physical or food, nutrition or the inputs) and mental supports. Here, we are focusing on air (in the form of exercises) for the human body that our medical system (run by the government) hasn't considered very much.

Let's look into some concepts.

1. Helpful Concept of Yin and Yang in Foods
During the history of mankind, people gain knowledge about what kinds of food are matched with certain condition or at each stage of health through observation and experiment. For example when eating one vegetable, a fruit or an animal meat, one feels the reaction of the stomach and then goes diarrhea or constipation. If the same food repeatedly eaten and the same reaction from the body, one concludes that the food is the cause. Consequently, the Eastern medical masters classified the food causing diarrhea are Yin and the food causing constipation are Yang.

There are two main simple ideas Yin (-) and Yang (+). If a person is healthy, that person is having a balance of Yin and Yang. When the sickness comes, there is a weigh for more Yin or Yang, and to cure the sickness is to adjust your food or lifestyle in order to bring back the balance.

Ying belongs to blood, able to expand, salted taste, at cool to cold level of temperature, wet (liquid) and can cause diarrhea.

In the opposite, Yang belongs to air, sour tasted, able to shrinkage, at warm to hot temperature, dry (solid) and can cause constipation.

The cooking process of food is also indicating the more Yin or Yang added; For example, roasted is adding more yang while boiling is added more yin.

One health advice you often hear on several media is to drink lots of water and at least 2Ls per day. This advise is not for everyone but to just a certain type of people. Drinking more water is added more yin into the body, so if that body is already with more yin and heavy in fat, drinking more water is making that body losing its balance and moving it to more yin and then more sickness come from the excessive yin.

2. What do you interpret the value of your blood pressure?

In general, many of us know that the systolic indicates your heart muscle’s strength and the diastolic tells you the arterial softness. The pulse is the beats per minute. How about the meaning of those values?

In our observation, blood pressures are taken on two hands left and right, the following is our interpretation.

The systolic indicates your air strength in your blood while the diastolic tells you your blood quantity with more yang (+) or yin (-) going out from your heart.

If the measured blood pressure is out of the age-standard, we can adjust it according to our three main characters (air, food and mental health supportive) as we mentioned above.

For example, the lower value of diastolic can be improved by doing more body movements with deep breath while walking or during exercising.

If your diastolic is higher, the more blood out of your heart or you have more yang (+) level in your blood you have to eat food with less yang (more yin) such as more juicy liquid, soft and cold foods.

If your pulse is lower and you feel cold, you should measure your blood sugar and if it’s low too, so you just have to eat food with more energy which makes you feel warm and add spices as ginger, cinnamon, black pepper...

3. Your diastolic also indicates your heart valve’s condition.

If its measured value is smaller than our age minimum standard, the valve is narrow. If it’s higher, your heart valve is not closing properly. In this case we urge you to check and confirm with the cardiac specialist.

4. Have you ever noticed that the blood pressures of the cancer patients are always very low?

If a partial of your body is lack (insufficient) of blood for a long period of time (ie. Several years), that part develops a cancer. Therefore, if you know how to improve those parts of your body from low blood pressure to our above standard or your comfortable level, do you think you can prevent cancer?

Lots of cancer patients died not because of the cancer itself but because of the low blood pressure together with insufficient blood circulation and lack of nutrition to their needy body.

One example of the sickness of low blood pressure is the feeling of dizzy regularly and if you take B12 and eat food which is good for your blood such as the food with more yang, you'll feel less dizzy.

5. What you are going to do if you feel dizzy because you have not enough blood to the head?

What you can do is have more good food with supplement to
your blood (ie. B12) and you can do more exercising to bring blood to your high level such as bending your head to a lower level compared to your heart (picture of this ex is with the blog "A Simple Ex fo Diabetes").

Note that your blood pressure in your left hand is sometimes not equal to that of your right hand. The value in the left hand is more related to stomach and the one in the right hand is about the liver. After eating, your stomach is busy and then the blood pressure is lower.

6. How to reduce your blood pressure right away when you feel it's emergency situation to you?

Blow out your breath as much as you can continuously: Imagine you are blowing out your birthday cake's candles. Your blood pressure is little by little reducing and won't harm you.

If you're at high blood pressure and you want to keep your blood pressure at a healthy range, keep blowing out at your breath when you're walking, exercising or working hard: don't forget using your blood pressure monitor and check if it is in the healthy range yet. You can be rest and sure that you do your right way to keep yourself healthy.

7. Case study: the blood pressure 130/60-130 for a person at 52 years old: It is out of range compared to the age’s range. What should we do to this case?

Systolic 130 looks good, the diastolic is low but not so bad. The problem is the very high number of heart beats 130 per minute. Normally, at high number of heart beats that body is supposed to be with fever but in this case that person is cold and tied.

In order to view the situation of that body, we use our standard range of that age, it is 70-75 (80 is maximum). Take 130 and subtract it to 75, we have 55 is the extra-effort number that the heart has to work harder to bring enough blood for the circulation. This extra effort brings up the systolic to higher value and it’s 130. So the real number of systolic is 130-55 = 75.

This value 75 shows us an alert for a cancer beginning. So, what should that person has to do? With more exercising, that person can bring more force and oxygen to the blood pressure. Having more nutrition/good food for blood, the diastolic from a low number will increase to a better; and then with more energy from the food, more sugar will be added into the blood, the heart beats will be improved with less and less unnecessary beating.

With the blood pressure and glucose monitors, everyone can keep tract of any change to his or her body and do the fix by exercising and having appropriate food to support the body’s normal functions.

8. Can we stop taking tablets for high blood pressure when we found our blood pressure is matched with the above healthy range?

It’s your decision for your own health. Again your blood pressure and sugar monitors are useful tools for you to keep track any abnormal things happened to your body and your life.

The medicine is an urgent fix to your sickness with certain side effects. When you feel well and you measure your blood pressure and sugar and get good numbers, are you pleased that these tools make you feel sure about your health?

When you feel unsure, you take the tablet for reducing the high blood pressure while your blood pressure monitor shows you the low values of systolic and diastolic: Are you doing the double low and starving your blood pressure system? Why don’t you try to take less by a half or even a quarter of a tablet, feel your body “how it reacts” to the change and carefully monitor your blood pressure every single time that you feel the need???

We'll have some real cases with different situations for you soon :-)
